JORD wooden watches (pronouced “Yode” -like Yoda with no a) are beautiful timepieces that will have you rocking out with you clock out.
When we first discovered them on instagram we fell in love! We were looking for wood watches but we wanted something ethical and sustainable.
The watches are are a sophisticated mix of natural, and largely re-claimed materials, combined with quality movements and components.
We chose the mens Hyde Ebony and iron and the women’s Cora Koa & Rose Gold.
What we love most about JORD, other than how cool they look, is what they stand and their three core values.
Sustainability:
The majority of wood that goes into making a JORD watch and it’s box is sourced from furniture remnants!
The Maple and Bamboo they use are sourced completely sustainably. Every single piece of Koa comes from damaged trees that were brought down by natural weather events.

Fair Wages:
JORD promises that all of their workers are trained well, treated fairly and paid properly. Each watch is treated with natural substances, which creates a safer environment for their workers.
Environmental Safeguards:
All JORD watches are treated without toxic chemicals and with natural substances. The watches are conditioned with natural tung oil, which comes straight from the Tung tree.
High Quality
Apart from being ethically made, you can tell that these watches are high quality. This isn’t a watch isn’t going to just last a few years, It will definitely withstand the test of time.

Each design is modern and provides just enough character to be different than anything else out there. They are extremely comfortable considering the whole band is made of wood as well.
