Goat Yoga in Los Angeles

What’s that you say?? Goat Yoga in Los Angeles? As in, baby dwarf goats? Yoga? All under one roof? Count us in!!!

We know what you’re thinking… Ya, but are they potty trained? To which we say.. no…but a little poo never stopped us from having a BAHH-utiful time before!

(ooo there will be more goat puns to come! You just wait)

Goat Yoga

If you follow us on Instagram you know we just had the most epic yoga experience ever! We discovered what is known as “goat yoga” and boy did we have fun! Keep reading to find out all the details and to watch the video with these adorable kids!

First things first; We have been following these guys over at Laughing Frog on Instagram for some time now. Laughing Frog Yoga is the only yoga studio in Los Angeles currently offering Goat Yoga classes.

We kinda have a small obsession with baby goats on social media…totally normal, right?

If you haven’t heard of goat yoga, you’re not alone. It’s a somewhat new fad where you attend a yoga class, and baby goats come out and jump all over you.  Pretty self explanatory but we needed to see this for ourselves.

Brentwood Yoga Studio

We always imagined an outdoor setting on a farm or in a park for this type of thing, but at laughing frog yoga they bring the goats right to the class room.

Not your average yoga class

When we first got there it seemed like a normal yoga class with no goats in sight. They were hopefully  letting them relieve themselves before this hour long class.

As we were sitting in Sukasana (also know as easy seat, or any comfortable seated position.) The pitter patter of little hoofs came in from the back of the room. Two of the cutest goats we’ve ever seen enter.

Hello Critter Care

Billy and Burlap from Hello Critter Care. Hello Critter started as a pet care business. In 2017, the emphasis shifted to Goat Yoga and other goat-related services which include bringing their curious & friendly goats to events such as private parties, fundraisers, corporate events, Goat Art Parties, Goat Improv, Sound Baths, photo shoots, TV/Film, and much more!

As the class started it was hard not to laugh and giggle at Burlap and Billy as they came by. If you think downward dog or chair pose are hard, try doing them as cute little baby goats weave in between your legs and jump from back to back!

It’s an extremely casual class and we’d classify it as beginner for sure.

At the end of class we all share a BAAAHH-Maste and they give you 30 minutes of selfie time with these kids 🙂

Blessings

We did have some blessings in the class (thats what they call it if they poop) But it was cleaned up before you could smell anything and actually just hilarious to see in this environment.

An UnforGOATtable experience!

Over all it was one of the best yoga experiences we have every had! We couldn’t stop laughing and our cheeks actually hurt from smiling so much! This would be a great date idea, bachelorette party or just to take your mom out for something new.

Check them out HERE and make sure to book a class! They are currently sold out through JUNE!

If you guys are looking for a fun new way to exercise this is it! Let us know in the comments below if you would ever try Goat Yoga 🙂
